Superchamps squads/ Interclub news/ Renovations nearly done/ NZ Honours recipient

Superchamps; The club will field 2 teams in this annual competition; Mens D: Cory, CJ, Zach, Logan & two from Dan/ Andrew/ Tanmay Womens D: Janice/ Darshana/ Shahrane'e/ Sam/ Aline/ Karen/Janine/ Steph The competition will run from 22-28 July with the grading cut-off on 7th June and team lists required by July 3rd.

Superchamps; The deadline for borrowing players from other clubs is this Thursday and we have a player in mind from BB to strengthen a handy looking Womens D grade squad. We will also have a D grade Mens team with the possibility of a composite Womens E grade team with either BB or Devonport. Our 2022 runners-up Mens C grade team will not feature this year as most of the squad have hit B grade! More news in later circulars with the comp in the last week of July.

Free beginner ladies coaching/ Great opening interclub round/ Membership departures

Pennant celebration: This ended up becoming a comp between 4 mens pairings playing squash and pool against each of the other duos. It was a great opportunity to re-open our newly refurbished pool room and the format proved a real success. Congrats to Andrew & Pierre on their win and we hope that on the back of this that Andrew resumes his interclub career for Mens 2!

  Enrol for Pennant celebration & junior coaching/ Family night this Friday/ Interclub is back!

Pennant celebration: we've had 8 sign ups so far for this celebratory event this Thursday. A chance for our Women's 2 team (Spring). Masters (Spring), Women's 1 (Autumn) & Men's junior team (Autumn) to turn out for a team photo and enjoy the fun. We'll bring iut the old rackets as handicaps as required in a team tag competition. Pennant celebration: Cause for celebration is our capture of 2 pennants in Autumn interclub to add to 4 won in the Spring pennant at the end of last year, Your committee will host a social at the club with a sausage sizzle and tag tournament. We really want to get those winning teams along for photos and with space limited you're encouraged to sign up via FB here.

Club Renovations: Good progress over the past 7 days and this weekend Morne and I embarked on the pool room and kitchen renovation. Offers of help would be appreciated as we complete these 2 areas and embark on the stairwell. Got lucky this week when a council electrician, visiting to get the entrance way lights operating, was persuaded to tidy up some redundant loose wiring.
