Fantastic performance by our 4 skippers to get full teams on the park throughout the whole of Superchamps given the scale of our ambition !o field 4 teams while also hosting 2 grades. In the event titles eluded us with each team reporting one match win. But being in the frame for this prestigious tournament is an impressive achievement and thanks to all the players for their commitment over the past 5 days. But most of all to Graham who masterminded arrangements at our club which went without a hitch. Photos of three of our teams appear below for your scrap books!

Superchamps: This tournament commences on Weds and runs until Sunday with a record 4 SP teams competing. None are top seeds so it will be tough going and I'm sure they'd love your support. With 5 players in action, contests usually straddle at least 3 hours. Below this section is a table detailing the fixtures and with 2 teams playing at home I'm sure we'll gain some home town support!

COURT FLOODING: Thanks to Shahranee'e for alerting me to the flooding on Tuesday as a result of which council despatched roofers to check the roof and find this down pipe blocked. Remarkable as it was only cleared 3 months ago. I'm not sure it's the only cause of leaks but at least this aspect could be simply remedied. Please advise if your come across leaks yourself.

Superchamps team entries: These are due by Weds 4pm and we have a pretty good idea of our squad composition subject to selection of a Womens D grade team manager and a playing order for Womens E. If you have any concerns about your own participation please advise. Squad members need to all get through that club refs exam.
