Thank you to a swathe of club players who have swollen entries to our club tournament to 36 players. Great to see a good number of Superchamps squad players enroll including Mens C (2), Mens F/J (4), Womens C (3) and Womens E (1).

After about a 3 year break our team of Lee, Neil & Janine pulled off a 6/4 win vs Manurewa this week and we now entertain all 6 teams at home next Wednesday. We have a 6 strong squad but remain keen to hear from any prospective >40yo team members.

We have gained quite a few new members since last placing a shirt order and with Superchamps coming up we're keen to get our teams kitted out. There is a 6 week lead time for orders ex-China so we will need to place an order by next Tuesday. Cost will be $25 for graded players representing the club and $45 for social players.

Free beginner adult coaching - now fully subscribed. This gets underway on Saturday 11th June with 27 participants and I look forward to coaching alongside Tarun and Catie and recruiting more members for the club.

I've just heard that Squash Auckland have received confirmation that Auckland Unlimited will fund 6 hours of free adult group beginner (>20yo) coaching over 4 lessons in June. This is a great opportunity to attract new players to the sport but if you have not benefitted from a previous course, are relatively new to the club and E2 or below let me know and we'll try to squeeze you in. This opportunity will also be advertised on social media shortly both by ourselves and Squash Auckland. Likely to be weekend sessions.

Membership renewal/ Interclub update & winter enrolment/ holiday prog

Thanks for the correspondences this week and I'd just like to reinforce a few aspects for those contemplating membership renewal; • Our membership rates have not changed since 2015 with the exception of the $2/ month increase to monthly rates this year. • Our playing facilities have been hugely improved over this period and we are actively looking to improve the social spaces, just short of resource right now.
