The three week, four team competition is now almost fully in place with 14 players and 2 reserves leaving just 2 more players required. I've been pursuing potential players and the first two to respond take the slots: Enrolments, times and match format appear below, Action from 6.30pm next Tuesday.

Booking system update: You will by now have received instructions on Frello registration if an active squash member. The link provided will expire in 2 weeks so don't hold off doing this! 19 members have signed up to date. and you will not be able to make bookings without registering.

As advised by FB (are you a member yet?) there has been a Go Live! delay for the new Frello booking system and we are now targeting next Weds 24th Jan. The kiosk and pin pads have been installed and the hardware aspects are complete but the booking rules proving problematic. So we will not be sending sign-up instructions enabling you to book courts until Tues/ Weds.

THIRD PLACE FOR SURYA: Surya reports from Tauranga that he was placed in a 5 round draw for this tournament and, having benefited from a first round bye, then won his next two matches before losing his semi-final to the eventual winner. He picked up third place by winning his final match but to my mind more like second equal. Pretty good outcome and Surya now heads to Dubai and India for his summer hols and a wind-down,

Club champs and Annual Award winners + twin interclub success!

Club champs concluded on Friday with some well contested finals although both the Championship finals were settled 3/0, Martyn out-witting Surya in the Men's final. and Shahrane'e beating Minja 3/0. Winners are detailed below and the Junior winners will be announced next week once the top boys "J" grade final has been played (Sid vs Seb). Thanks to Ernie for the excellent organisation of this year's champs.

Well done to Neil Tulloch on capturing this award against some tough competition. Neil has been an interclub captain multiple times, runs social nights and currently is teaching a number of beginners new skills. He's a real asset to our club.
