Our top ladies squad, together with two BB players, headed to Invercargill for six days after all getting leave from work. They played 6 matches in the finals, winning their first two pool games impressively before losing the next two and ending up playing off for third place. Darshana was the only winner in this match-up so they ended fourth of ten teams. Team spirit was admirable and no previouis team during my Presidency has won a finals contest, this being our third squad to qualify. Watching the live action on You Tube was pretty special.
